I'm looking to paint my wooden canopy black (the current colour doesnt match my stand) and was wondering what would be the best type of paint to do so. I need something that wont leach into the water with humidity, or give off toxic fumes. Any suggestions?

Is it just certain flat areas that you want to paint (not the whole thing)???  If so you could try TieTack (I think thats what its called).  It is like wallpaper but more like a sticker.  You can buy it at dollar stores.  Just cut a piece larger then what you are covering, stick it on, then use an x-acto knife to trim the excess.

Hi
Whatever paint you choose. Clearcoat it or use clear polyuarane (spelling) to seal it.
