ambushman2j

musta been at SP merivale, they got them by mistake was supposed to be snowflake eel 6" or something and instead they send 12" mooray eels

StylinT

the one lady said i could put them both in with my oscars an jack an it wouldnt be over stocked an i wasnt sure she knew what i was talkin about lol

but what about the midas in the classifieds would he be ok in my tank ?

dpatte

12" moray eels? I thought Morays where saltwater. how much are they?

ambushman2j

the tag on them says freshwater mooray eels..I don't recall the price, I have only had 2 shifts since we got them in and since they aren't exactly something everyone wants..lol I don't recall the price

midas cichlid would do fine with oscars

dpatte, "freshwater" morays actually need more and more brackish conditions, eventually going almost full marine.

Freshwater Moray ID link is a good read.

Moray article
White Cheeked Moray

We are blessed at that site to have some really knowledgeable Moray and Brackish people. I wouldn't add one to a tank with Oscars. After all, O's eat worms!

StylinT

they were like 15 bucks a piece i think
