My Auratus have bred

I have a male and 1 female, they have had their second clutch of fry, this time i managed to get the female to a breeding tank. I lost count at 16 fry. The little ones are doing great

Only 1. It is doing very well. a good 2 inches long now.
I tried to count the fry, but they are too quick, we lost count at 16, but I am sure there are more.
It is surprising that with only 1 female that she survived, but she is one tough bugger.

  Auratus  are nasty's and the females more then hold their own. Good luck with the fry. Water changes 2 times a week and lots of small feedings will really speed up growth.

I am fortunate, I am on a well and the water is hard. Good for the cichlids
