Assassin Snails? Do most Pet Shops Carry These?

I have a maternity/nursery heavily planted tank.  I guess with the last shipment of plants which were suppose to be pest free, they weren't and now I have a snail infestation.
Tried using something called "Snail Zap" but that was totally useless.  Being a heavily planted tank the greenery trap method won't work.  Being a maternity/nursery tank don't want a clown loach who will munch on my babies.
So after research I saw assassin snails.  How well do they work and where do I get them?
Or can anyone suggest another commercial product to add to the tank like this snail zap but one that actually works?
I have no scale-less fish or invertebrates in the tank to worry about - Just Mollys, Platys, Ottos and a Bushynose.

Thanks

Assassin Snails are great. They repopulate though so they can then become a problem if they over populate in your tank.  They are often sold at the auctions :)

Careful with snail killing products as they often contain copper (Cu) that is not easily removed and can harm both plants and inverts. Plus a mass die off of snails can actually be toxic to your fish.
Assassins are very manageable and don't reproduce to the same extent as the ramshorn, MTS and bladder snails. Most shops carry these yes, but there are a number of members that have them as well and could probably help you out.
As for trapping pest snail, I use (washed or organic) zucchini slices overnight and there are usually 20+ snails on the slice in the morning (which I then feed assassin snails with) for removal. You can entice them by not feeding the tank for a couple days if they're not interested at first.
Other options for snail control include smaller snail-eating loaches like a few yo-yo loach (rather than clowns) or some cichlids will eat snails (especially if wild specimens).
I believe the safest option for your nursery tank is either the assassin or repeatedly baiting them with food.

I believe Big Als on Innes Road had a bunch for sale last Sunday (on the right hand side when you enter the fish section).
