Clear Skimmate

I just plugged in my skimmer and it produced half a cup of clear skimmate.  Usually the skimmate is a yellow/brownish colour.
Any ideas why it would be clear?

Needs time to break in and get the slick stuff inside. Mine does that everytime I clean it.
