Oh Matt you stinker, we had managed to go so long without a serious bit of aid here, and now you are being helpful, what sort of example is that?

Perhaps it is a house plant trying its hand at something new, was out for a stroll and got kidnapped by the deadfishchick just when it was getting far enough into the lake to begin its marvelous journey to the sea where it would begin its empire to rule alongside Neptune, overthrowing vast armies of urchins and anemones, blithely unaware that with the deft stroke of a swipe from above, he would spend his days in a glass box, always wondering what was on the other side of the window.

Either that, or it's a featherwort disquised as a stringy aloe lily from deepest darkest africa, okay, I'll shut up now, no he won't, too late, not drink yet I guess, we'll leave that to roxy and the black widow.

Looks like quillwort for sure - hopefully not Engelmann's Quillwort, which seems to be found in only 2 populations in the whole province and is registered as endangered   That would be just my luck...

well you might be able to propogate them, BigD seemed to have a prity good understanding of how to do it.
