Hey Dark, are you on a commission base by any chance.  ;)

Julie

I tried the "tell everyone about AC for SPS" but Ivan said no :)

Julie

Actually Dark referred me to Ivan and the refractometer group buy; which was excellent and I like looking like a pirate from the Caribbean.

i think MH is a overkill for a tank that size when you only plan basic coral and fish, i mean if you are gonna be hardcore....yes go MH, if not, dont bother, thats my opinion!

having said that, i have a complete 175 mh setup(bulb extra) for sale in the classified lol!

pic is of a tiny tank with pc lighting!

I have a few times with a turkey baster and mysis, but generally I do not.

Az - what's in the upper left hand corner of your tank?

Murgus- have you priced Marinescape for pc?

Looks good there though.
My xenia was flourishing at first, now it's gone down the tubes.
I just repositioned it.

pitabread

murgus, if you haven't decided on your tank size yet, Perfecto makes a 56 gallon that is 30x18x24".  It's the tank I chose (I too, was limited to 30" width) and I found it's been a good size.  The extra 6" of depth you get versus a 29 gallon is very useful for aquascaping a reef.  The extra water volume doesn't hurt, either.

Here's a shot of mine, 1 month after setup:
