Saltwater Snails

This is mostly a "Just wanna know" question...

I noticed at the local Sobeys that the lobster tank was almost empty (of lobsters) but was absolutely loaded with these big snails.  I guess I was just wondering if those are actually sold as escargot or something or if they are accidental imports with the lobsters.  I wonder if they'd give them away

They were likely there to keep the algae off the glass.

Maybe.  I know I should have just asked but there wasn't anyone around at the moment.  There did seem to be WAY too many snails in there for algae cleaning purposes, but a very good possibility.

There is no othere explination, but that the snails have taken over again, and killed all of the lobsters, but the few that have resisted against them.

Hmm.  Maybe they came flying out of the coral.

I think it's a conspiracy.  Everybody keep a close eye on their snails, I sense a hostile takeover in the midst.

None of this surreptitously hostile snail behaviour started until....PFG brought back those thorny snails, clearly they are spearheading the attack(hence all those spikes on them--perhaps they are communication devices sending messages to all Ottawa snails that now is the time to attack.)  Now that SeanC has taken one of their assassins out they know we are aware of their evil plan...we are all surely doomed .
