hey
i have this huge sword(E. grandifolious) and it is growing immersed leaves, and thats all it is growing, is there any way to make is grow submerged leaves again? I tried cuting off most of the leaves but it just grew more immersed. should i cut the roots?

also how do i keep my red tiger lotus from doing the same thing?

thanks
Sean

I'm not sure about your sword, but I just keep taking the 'long' leaves off of my lotus.  That way the leaves that do grow are close to the substrate - it looks really nice.

Hi Seanc, trying to keep a sword growing in submersed form all the time is kind of a mission impossible. :o Cutting it's root only slowing it down for a while. Only few kinds of sword plants stay and grow in submersed form all the time.  ;)
