Olive Snails

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about Olive Snails. I pick up one at big al's a few days ago. They were telling me that they mostly herbivores, but when I read  what little I could find online, I found that they are carnivores.... Does anyone know which they are???

Omnivorous? I've seen them come out to eat anything from algae wafers and seaweed to brine shrimp, so my guess would be they'll eat anything.

Thanks. I am just worried I'll be replacing my cleaning crew a little more often than I'd like.

I doubt they'd attack anything, they might scavenge if they're already dead, but probably not while they're alive.

i have 2 of them and they just dig in the sandbed and mow through it and come on every so often. i find they make a difference, but thats just my opinion.
