Hardness in the rift lake cichlids tank

For those who are dealing with rift lake (and particularly Malawi) cichilds I have a question: what is your water general and carbonate hardness?
Mine with the crushed coral substrate is rizing to the "astronomical" values:
GH = 23
KH = 10
I even found that I don't have problems with algae on the glass, but with deposits.

mines around the same but honestly? I dont check it.
I havent been adding epsom salt lately so my GH is down a bit
ph and kh are otherwise high and around yours.
and i can tell the fish need GH cause they seem sluggish without it
