Hi,

I have a 10g with incandescent light fixture.
Can this be used for any plants ?
Or is plastic the only option... ?

Thanks,

you can grow low light plants under day light spiral bulbs in 10g.

Yeah, just go to Home Depot/Walmart and get the flour. spiral bulbs that are about the same size as a regular non-aquatic lightbulb.  I think 11 watts is the one I bought, it doesn't look like it will fit, but it does. :)

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.  So love the people who treat you right.  Forget about the one's who don't.  Believe everything happens for a reason.  If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.  If it changes your life, let it.  Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Java fern should be able to grow in your tank.
