I'm learning the jargon, can anyone explain to me what this means?

First level is fine, 8 what ? and what is spp. What is goodeid?

1st level: 8 spp
2nd level: 15 spp
3rd level: 30 spp, at least 1 goodeid
4th level: 50 spp

spp is short for species (plural), sp for species (singular)
Goodeids are a specific family of Central and North American livebearers. Many of them are endangered or extinct. One good example is Ameca splendens, the butterfly goodeid.
