How do you split/prune this stuff?

I just use scissors!

If it's attached to gravel, you can lift out what you want.  If you're just triming back or it's attached to driftwood/decorations/rocks that you want to keep covered, snip away!

You don't even need scissors... just rip it apart by hand and tie down your new bunches where you want 'em.

I just rip
and watch my driftwood go with it hahaha it's pretty strong I've pulled out a piece and pulled out an entire chunk of driftwood it was so entangled on it!!

and to put it back...I swirl it in a loose ball and stuff! haha
