Where can I get pond soil?

I have pretty much given up trying to get eco complete substrate for my 75G (mainly due to it's price) so would like to get some pond soil as a base layer for my aquarium.

When I lived in the UK, I bought a couple of bags of pond soil - is this available in Canada and, if so, where from?

Thanks in advance,

Martin
With fronds like these, who needs anemones?

I've never looked for it myself, but you might try the Pond Clinic (http://www.pondclinic.com/retailStore.htm). They sell pond plants, so maybe they also sell the pond soil, or at least know where you can find some?

good luck,

Pond soil is a little deceiving.  It's a baked clay but but I've also seen a soil based one(when I first setup my pond so I might have found it at Ritchie's and I haven't seen it since).

The red clay one can be found at most garden centres(Canadian Tire and Rona carry it as well).  It's the Schultz Aquatic Plant Soil and here's someone that's used it in a tank:
