DIY stand

anybody can giveme tips about making my stand..i wanna put 2- 25g on top of each other..thanx

the thing about putting two tanks ontop eachother in a stand is that one will either be too high or too low. i'd recommend something about 30-40" off the ground that holds both side by side, or better yet, one big tank.

there's hobby pine at home depot that i'd use. some considerations:

the main piece of wood that will hold the weight needs to be balanced directly onto the legs. place the legs below this piece of wood and attach them. this way, the main piece of wood only exerts it's force downwards.

next is make sure you have some kind of backing, or something to keep it from wobbling. i would recommend you take a look at a strong piece of furniture in your home and mimic it's design (struturally). the last thing you want it 40g on the floor!
