Hey Everyone,

I was just browsing through the website, or maybe i did poor job of looking through the site. But i was thinking that we should add a sticky in the "Plants" section, that has actual pictures of plants showing different nutrient deficiency as photo reference.

The reason i say that, i mean one can read up only so much to start spotting such deficiency. And I also agree that this knowledge does come from trial and error, where you experience the situation first hand when you grow your own aquatic plants.

But those who are familiar with growing plants, and for those who are just starting out. It would help a little just to familiarize people of different scenarios.

I was thinking it can be displayed as photo's based, on different nutrient deficiency or even just low-med-high spec type plants. But i would think it be alot easier, to display via a listing of nutrient deficiency.

I think this idea of displaying actual photo reference, of nutrients deficiency of great use for this OVAS forum.

That's an interesting idea.  There are hundreds of plats out there though!! :o  That would take up a lot of space on the website with a picture attached to each, not to mention the huge amount of work for the exec volunteers too get it all imputed.  I think there might be copyright issues to deal with when adding pictures too.  I'm not discounting the idea...it's a good one...but perhaps we're not there yet.

If anyone is looking for this much info, I always direct them to Tropica's website.  It's a fantastic reference website for all kinds of plants, since all they do is grow, research and supply plants.  That info boosts sales of tropica plants too, so they can afford the bigger website.
