Weld-on in Ottawa

I've been to a buch of Home Depots and Ronas but can't find anyone selling Weld-on #4 to use with acrylic.  Where do people buy theirs?

I've though about using PVC bond/glue to put together an acrylic overflow box but would rather use weld-on.

Thanks.  I'll try to get out there tomorrow.  All that's holding me back from getting this tank up and started is my overflow box.......and my slowly filling tub of RO/DI water....drip drip drip

hi I e-mailed them and the got back and said they don't carry weld on #4 so were else can you buy it?

I recently bought some acrylic from Canus for a project that I was working on.  They sold me a small bottle of Methyline Chloride ($3) to do the welding.  It's very watery, but did the trick.

I doubt that there's any product out there that is better for acrylic bonding....used it often without any issues whatsoever.

Canus also sells weldon 16

I ended up with the #16 from canus.  They mentioned that unless you really know what you are doing, #16 is better as it takes a little more time to bond.  The #4, from what they said, is pretty instant while the #16 gives you some wiggle-room before it sets.
