I've got a 38 gallon with 6 small (2") yellow labs and one giant danio.  Would it be adviseable/acceptable to add a pair or maybe 2 pairs of cobalt blue zebras?  Should the size of the cobalt's be the same as the yellow labs?  For filtration I have a fluval 404 with rings and carbon.

Maybe just one pair 1.5" to 3" Filtration is fine

Agree on the one pair, you're gonna run outta room when they grow.

Cobalts and Labs get along great.

Pegasus and darkdep - Thanks very much.  I thought that two pairs might be pushing it.  Is it okay if I get a male and female?

darkdep

Only issue you'll find there is that the male will harrass the female.  You *might* want to think about 1 male / 2 females; that ratio will distribute the male's aggression and they will all be happier.  The male will more or less ignore the other fish in the tank.
