Driving to the meeting

Hey!

Does anyone in the South Keys area (airport region) want a drive to the meeting later this month?

I am forcing myself to work up the nerve to go (I have some social anxiety) and figured I would offer as a way for me to actually show up (which I have been trying to do since September).

Or, if anyone lives in the area & wants to carpool?

Social anxiety - Don't worry everyone at an OVAS meeting is a bit anxious

As long as you know some good four letter swear words like "FISH", "SALT", "REEF", "ROCK" and "TANK" you will  get along just fine unless you utter the words "How much DID it cost?" . 

That other four letter word "NEAT" as in "I saw something NEAT" can usually be translated as "I saw something wet and expensive".

Oh, and since this sounds like it might be your first meeting, I guess I really should mention, if anyone asks you about your breeding success, they are not asking about your family!

Haha thanks Ron for your support!  I know many of those 4 letter swear words - though my favourite one is "FREE"

You mean those people at the fish store were not asking me about by potential breeding of children?  Well darn, I wish you told me sooner! 
I guess it would explain the redness of the staff members face when I went into detail on how i was doing it.
or when I said I had photos!

"Oh, you wanted to know about breeding Cichlids... I thought you said childrens"

Sometimes our staff do get a little out of hand...

Don't be afraid, many of us don't see the light of day often either, we're all cooped up in our fishrooms changing water and tinkering with this and that... why did you think we had all of the fancy light fixtures?
