fish meds

I'm currently looking for a fish meds to cure internal parasites. Apparently they are illegal in Canada and i cant buy them at big als. Any suggestions?

Its not that they are illegal however Health Canada has put restrictions on antibiotics and other medications that we were able to purchase locally before in many LFS such as Big Al's . You can still get these medications however they need to have a veterinarian referral before they can be ordered. This topic has been discussed on the forum and there are only a small number of vets available locally that you can contact. Unfortunately this is not very cost effective for many local fish keepers on a limited budget .

There are some natural products available still  however I find that a problem needs to be caught early for these to be effective. ( Just my opinion !!!! )  Good luck and PM me if you can't find the previous discussions
