It has been a while and I have made quite a bit of progress. Some thanks to 2 guys at the back of Big Al's who had some ideas around the fish to water ratio. Another fellow just nailed it with a recommendation on adjusting the ph.

So now: fresh lettuce with some herbs non-stop and I am going to give cucumbers another go (you can barely see that stem just right of Center.

I also added a gravity filter in the sump using a 4-liter water bottle.

My next step is to balance the seeds / basket ratio.

One surprise: rock wool is just a waste. I started using ultra cheap earth discs that you can recycle in your garden. I am also working on seeding directly into the clay stones.
