Hi everyone, newbie here

Hi! I have been lurking for a while but was too shy to say hi. My name is Florence, I am new to the hobby but it's quickly becoming an obsession. I love it! I am not sure why I am so nervous to introduce myself to the local community but here I am.

37 years old, goth, live on my own. I've started my tank a while back but ran into some issues (a lot of them due to me being inexperienced and going off wrong information).

I have set up a 40 gallon, originally I wanted an axolotl but I made something a little too high tech and intense for one so I plan on stocking it with other things soon ish, for now I have been concentrating on getting the plants I want and making sure they are okay (some of the latest plantsI have received are very melty and I am not sure if they will pull through).

I got good ideas on what I want to keep in it, just gotta figure out if I will be overcrowding the tank with what I have planned. But since I plan on staging introduction of different species, I have time to think on it.

I want to post a picture of what I have going at the moment but I have a bit of rescaping to do today! I can always post when that's done!
