hey
today i did a 50% water change(as usual) When the water started to get low i went to turn on off the filter, when i do thins i usualy turn the CO2 and all the heaters off to. so i did that, there was no water left in the buble counter for the CO2. once i was done changing the water, i filled up the Bubble counter...Then i noticed something was wrong, the gauge that says the PSI of the CO2 tank was at zero! What had happend. I imediatly look up to the tank, All the fish seem fine, none at the top gasping. i look around some more just to make sure, nothings wrong. Well i can't do much about it right now, as i have to go to work. I try to figure out the CO2. when i turn the big nob to let the CO2 out nothing happens, neither of the gauges move, the second one that tells you how much presure is coming out is stuck at about 10PSI. I then go to the needle valve i turn it slowly, one buble comes out, i turn it again, and about 20Bubles per second come out. the needle valve is not working at all, it is way to finiky.i finaly get it to about 1.5BPS, without it triping out on me. then i leave. now both gauges are at zero, and i am barely geting 1BPS. WhatHapened to all my CO2?!? The tank is supost to last 6months is it not? I havent had it that hig, 2BPS, every so often going up to 3BPS. is this odd? is this normal. The thing that i don't get is why if all my CO2 is gone(assuming i had an end of tank dump) are all my fish fine? well any hellp apriciated.
Thanks

I cant help with the system, but if the whole thing did just leak out, your fish will be fine.  CO2 doesn't absorbe into the water that fast...I'd be more worried about YOUR health/

How long have you had the tank for Sean?

Seanc

The way to test is to get your bottle filled, and then put very soapy water at all the joints.  If you have a leak, it will make the soap bubble.
